The New Harley-Davidson Street™ 750 and 500 News

MILAN (Nov. 4, 2013) – Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG) is continuing its monumental ride, that began with the introduction of Project RUSHMORE in August, by revealing two, all-new Dark Custom™ motorcycles designed for a new generation of global, urban riders.

The new Harley-Davidson Street™ 750 and 500 motorcycles are built for urban environments with all new, liquid-cooled Revolution X powertrains, nimble agility and the sound and look that lets everyone know they are genuine Harley-Davidson.

“These are the newest motorcycles to join our Dark Custom line-up, which helped make us the number-one selling brand to young adults in the U.S. for the past five years,” said Matt Levatich, President and Chief Operating Officer, Harley-Davidson Motor Company. “The development and dark design elements of these new bikes were fuelled by customer insights, which is the core tenant of our revamped product development process and driver of our recent Project RUSHMORE success.”

Today’s global announcement is the first of a series of reveal moments leading up to the Harley-Davidson Street 750 and 500 rolling onto dealer showroom floors in 2014.
